Dear SLF Foundation, thank you so much for the financial assistance your foundation provided me with to get my teeth cleaned. I am disabled, on a very fixed income, and have no dental insurance. Apparently without this cleaning the dentist would not have even been able to properly locate all my cavities. Also my gum pain completely stopped after the cleaning. Due to your help I feel better, and was able to use the money I saved to get my first of many cavities filled.

Your assistance gave me a head start to taking care of all of my dental problems and allowing me the opportunity to keep my teeth, and improve my health. The information you provided me with about proper dental care made me aware of the importance of taking care of my teeth and catching minor problems early before they become major. What I would do to have pretty smile again? At the age of 44, I have been struggling for sometime with this -- I have a tooth that is loose in the front bottom of my mouth and many teeth missing in the back that have cracked and fallen, and some part of the tooth is still in the mouth... I have no insurance except for medicaid and medicare. Thank you, SH
